1. Interior Works Scope & Technical Specifications
The scope of work includes the complete supply, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of interior fit-out works for the OIC Cabin and Dock Master area. The project covers wall paneling works using marine-grade plywood mounted on treated framework with laminate or veneer finish, fabrication of a central table using marine plywood with laminated surface and cable management provisions, installation of heavy-duty commercial vinyl or marine-grade flooring with proper surface preparation and skirting, and installation of window blinds and sofa seating with durable materials suitable for operational environments. The electrical works include FRLS copper wiring through PVC conduits, installation of modular switches, and proper earthing as per IS standards to ensure safety and reliability. The scope also includes installation and commissioning of the Public Address system consisting of amplifier, speakers, and microphones with proper mounting and sound calibration. All materials, workmanship, and installations shall comply with relevant IS standards, NBC 2016 guidelines, and applicable marine operational requirements. Upon completion, the contractor shall submit testing reports, as-built drawings, and warranty documentation for final approval and handover.
